Harry Potter: A History of Magic - The Book of the Exhibition promises to take readers through subjects studied at Potter’s wizarding school, Hogwarts. Harry Potter - A Journey Through A History of Magic will touch on mystical things such as alchemy, unicorns and ancient witchcraft.

Both books will be published in October.

The first book of the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (UK and elsewhere)/Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (USA) was released in July 1997, only to become a phenomenon which would enthrall readers across the globe for many years to come.

A year ago, around the same time, JK Rowling released the eighth installment of the book franchise titled, Harry Potter and The Cursed Child . The book was basically the script of the two-part play (written by Rowling) which took the story of JK Rowling’s Harry Potter universe 19 years into the future, after the end of Deathly Hallows. The play opened at London’s Palace Theatre on 30 July and was available as a book in India by the end of July.

Apart from the seven original books and Cursed Child, Rowling has also written spin-offs about the wizarding world of Harry Potter. The books Quidditch Through The Ages and Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them (which also has been made into a separate movie franchise) have also garnered a lot of popularity over these years.
