The cast of Thugs of Hindostan is in Malta, where a large ship has been constructed for the shoot of their film. Amitabh Bachchan, who is part of the cast with Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Dangal actress Fatima Sana Shaikh, described the shoot as being ‘gruelling’, but said that he also got a short respite. Kaif and Shaikh also put out pictures of their free time, where they wandered in the streets of Malta and its seaside.
