As Salman Khan gears up for his next, Kabir Khan’s period drama Tubelight, he seems to be on a firing spree.

News 18 reports that Salman recently fired three members of his entourage for leaking very private information of the actor to the media. While that piece of information is unknown, what is known is that he has retained his close aide Shera, who has been serving as his bodyguard for ages. He even appeared alongside Salman in Siddiqui’s 2011 action romantic comedy Bodyguard.

Interestingly, Salman did not fire four of his bodyguards including Shera when an FIR was filed against them in an assault case.  Hindustan Times reports that last year, the DN Nagar Police Station in Mumbai had arrested Shera, his driver and two bodyguards for allegedly assaulting Athar Gulam Ansari, a resident of Vile Parle (West).

However, now the same report states that the police has termed the assault case ‘false’. They will now file a ‘B summary’ report in the Andheri magistrate’s court which means that no evidence was found against the accused.

NDTV reports that Salman also broke ties with Reshma Shetty, his manager for years, who had helped in revamping Salman’s public image. The reason behind the same, as suggested by the report, is that Shetty was not allowing Salman to give dates to his brother and actor-filmmaker Sohail Khan’s next project.

After parting ways with Shetty, Salman will now be managed by Sohail’s agency. In fact, Sohail managed Salman’s recently concluded Da-Bang world tour. The two will also share screen space in his next film, Tubelight, that is slated to release this Eid on 25 June.
