Organisations are embracing the speed and simplicity of VCE converged infrastructure as the foundation for next-generation cloud technologies and turning to partners who can help them leverage and build IT platforms that can quickly deliver business value. Increasingly the enterprise market is realizing the benefits of cloud computing. Driving this massive transformation and adoption of cloud services are the large global System Integrators and Service Providers. These technology experts have the ability to transform legacy infrastructure into modern service-based portals. Indian IT majors who play in the global System Integrator space have contributed significantly to the adoption of innovative IT, with converged infrastructure vastly simplifying the move to hybrid cloud.

Praveen Akkiraju, CEO of VCE said, “We see India IT Outsourcing companies as a key influencer enabling organizations to accelerate their adoption of hybrid cloud computing to gain significant agility and operational benefits. VCE’s partner eco-system is a critical part of our global go-to-market strategy and we are working closely with them to deliver application and cloud services that solve key business problems for our customers.” VCE is strategically aligned with Wipro and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and also has strong relationships with other Service Providers who have been instrumental in building platforms based on consumption of services.

“Wipro has been delivering Transformation Services to its customers and looks at Cloud as the biggest enabler of this paradigm. Wipro has since early days leveraged the VCE Vblock systems for large scale deployments in North America and Europe in their cloud journey. While the Converged Infrastructure space and its use in the cloud business evolves, VCE definitely is one of our key partnerships.” added Anuj Bhalla,Vice President & Global BU Head - Product, System Integration and Maintenance Service, Wipro Limited. “TCS was an early adopter of VCE’s converged infrastructure for our cloud practice and we have gained a lot of operational efficiency as a result. Unlike the majority of new technology approaches, which often experience initial challenges, we found that VCE Vblock systems delivered from the very beginning, and created a platform where ‘anything-as-a-service’ quickly became a reality. We have been successfully running client workloads on VCE Vblock systems for customers in Europe and the US, and it has proven to be a very robust platform. TCS is currently evaluating the next generation of VCE architecture due to its potential to drive further transformational efficiencies for clients,” added Dr.Rajesh Srinivasan, Global Head of Cloud and Transformation Services at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS).
