After a brief hiatus,Arindam Chaudhari is back with IIPM 2.0.

On a day when the Delhi crime branch has registered a case against Arindam Chaudhari, the founder of Indian Institute of Planning and Management, on a complaint by the University Grants Commission UGC, stating that the institute is ‘cheating’ and ‘fooling’ its students as it is not recognised by any regulatory body, the infamous ‘pony tail’ man has released a full page advertisement in Times of India, marketing IIPM 2.0.

“The world is being taken over by Billionaires in their 20s! Stop thinking of becoming managers; Dare to think beyond. Become an Entrepreneur. Give yourself the IIPM 2.0 edge- Arindam Chaudhrui,” reads the ad.

And at the very bottom of the day, which most readers are likely to overlook, it reads

“IIPM 2.0 is a Planman Consulting initiative and has a knowledge sharing agreement with IIPM. IIPM, which is a 41- year old education society has nothing to do with the functioning of IIPM 2.0… IIPM 2.0 and IIPM both run certification programs and do not give any Degree/Diploma nor do they come under AICTE/UGC.”

The IIPM can no longer use terms like MBA, BBA or management as ordered by the Delhi HC. The court has also instructed IIPM to mention that it is not recognised by any statutory body or authority in India regarding their recognisation on its website. The court’s order had come after a PIL accused IIPM of misleading, cheating and exploiting students by fraudulently using MBA or BBA in its prospectus and official website as courses offered by it.
