The interiors of the house speak volumes on elegance, class and style that the family represents. With its single shades of beige and brown, both in the interiors and exteriors, the house is rich in opulence and grandeur. The sea-facing bungalow nestled at a walking distance from Juhu Beach is surrounded by privy trees to offer some privacy to its owners from prying eyes. White rainproof sheets covering some portions of the house also add to one unique feature and provide some exclusivity and seclusion from the otherwise glitzy, glamorous lives that marks the Bachchan family.

The Right Mixing of Colours and Furnishing Patterns

With brightly printed carpets, stylish furnishings, colour-coordinated curtains and beautiful lightings and lamps, all the rooms in Jalsa scream happiness, luxury and sumptuousness to the core. Prateeksha had been the old residence for the family where Senior Bachchan lived with his parents for a long duration of his life. This abode houses the famous temple made of white marble, a place visited daily by Big B as he prays to the deities. Reportedly, the temple consists of the idols of all deities in the Hindu mythology. Followed as a practice in the family, each member folds his hands in gratitude to the deities before leaving home. Well, Big B has certainly made his homes a ‘divine abode’ exuding peace, beauty and harmony.

Janak, on the other hand, houses the office and personal gym of Big B, adjoined to Jalsa.

Adding to the exclusivity and safety, the Bachchans have bought another huge bungalow with a plot area of 750 square yards just behind Jalsa. The 50-crore worth building consists of approximately 8000 square feet living space and will offer a secluded entry to Jalsa, that earlier opened up to the busy VL Mehta Road, mostly swarmed with fans. The family reportedly will not annex this new bungalow to Jalsa as yet, letting them have a vast open space in their backyard.

Jalsa, Prateeksha and Janak all sport the quality of magnificence and glory, true to the enigma that Senior Bachchan’s presence exudes, representing a royal life amid a royal décor.
