But Sagicor took the series 1-0 after a crushing win in the first four-dayer at Lucas Street.
Prior to their stubborn stand, Imrul Kayes had held fort for the visitors with his eighth first-class century. He struck 15 fours and two sixes during his 334-minute stay at the crease. He only found support from Shuvagata Hom, with whom he added 89 runs for the sixth wicket before Imrul was dismissed by Miguel Cummins.
Sagicor were always in command after they made 354 in the first innings with fifties from Leon Johnson (74) and Jonathan Carter (54). Bangladesh A fell short by 135 runs with Sheldon Cottrell and Devendra Bishoo took three wickets each.
Sagicor also declared their second innings on 354 for 5, propped up by Jermaine Blackwood's second century in as many matches. He made 147 with 12 fours and five sixes, maintaining a strike-rate of 93.63. Johnson (63) and Assad Fudadin (89) also scored fifties to post a target of 490.
In the Bangladesh A second innings, Cottrell claimed 4 for 51 in 20 overs, but couldn't break the final-wicket partnership.
