Bhangra Empire, an Indo-American bhangra dancing group, brought down the house during the half-time show at NBA's game between the Golden State Warriors and the Memphis Grizzlies on March 26, 2017, at California's Oracle Arena in Oakland.
The NBA is currently celebrating a series of "Bollywood nights" at basketball games, and this is the seventh year in a row that Bhangra Empire has performed at a half-time show of the Golden State Warriors.
Founded in 2006, Bhangra Empire is a dance group based in the Bay Area, California.
In 2009, the team has performed at the White House First State Dinner, hosted by President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama to honour the Prime Minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh.
Bhangra Empire was also featured in the November 2010 issue of Harper’s Bazaar alongside former US President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama.
