Twitter users have #TrumpImpeachmentParty after White House shake-up

Users on Twitter had a field day with the latest shake up in the White House when Donald Trump's national security adviser Michael Flynn announced his resignation after coming under fire for having had a conversation about US sanctions on Moscow with Russia's ambassador before Trump took office on January 21.

Following Flynn's resignation, there was a report by the New York Times claiming Trump's campaign members had repeated contact with Russian intelligence before the US election in 2016.

Trump's calls for warmer ties with Russian and praise for President Vladimir Putin over the course of his election campaign and new presidency has also unnerved US lawmakers.

Between the two hot topics, Trump made sure to call out the "fake news media" and their "conspiracy theories" and said it was all an attempt to cover many mistakes made by presidential election rival Hillary Clinton's campaign.
