On Wednesday, US First Lady Melania Trump visited the Smithsonian's National Museum of African American History and Culture with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's wife Sara.

The Israeli PM is in the United States (US) for a meeting with President Donald Trump. While the two leaders got down to business at the White House, FLOTUS Melania treated Sara to a surprise visit at the museum.

The two were guided by museum director Lonnie Bunch and Smithsonian Secretary David Skorton, ABC News reported.

A tweet from Netanyahu's office showed pictures of Trump and Sara.

"As we remember, with deep humility and reverence, the historic plight of slavery which the Jewish and African-American people have known all too well, we rededicate ourselves to those powerful words that both our nations hold dear: "NEVER AGAIN!," the first lady is quoted as saying by ABC News.

During a joint press conference with Netanyahu, Trump requested Sara to stand as he wanted to thank her for the way she treated his wife Melania upon meeting."I also want to thank Sara, can you please stand up? You're so lovely and you've been so nice to Melania, I appreciate it very much," he said.
