Singer Adele made an emotional visit to London's Grenfell Tower to offer support to those affected by the deadly fire that killed at least 12 people and injured 74 others.

The 29-year-old Grammy winner and her husband Simon Konecki were photographed comforting people at the scene, reported The Telegraph.

"Adele was spotted at Grenfell Tower today offering her support to everyone affected by the tragedy," one Twitter user shared along with Adele's pictures.

Singer Lily Allen also offered support and supplies to the victims on social media, while celebrity chef Jamie Oliver provided free food and drinks to the affected at his restaurant in nearby Shepherd's Bush.

The fire at Grenfell Tower on the Lancaster West Estate in Latimer Road was reported at 01:16 AM (local time) yesterday. About 600 people were believed to have been inside the tower's 120 flats, many of them asleep, when the blaze ripped through the building.

Firefighters worked through the night to dampen the massive blaze that engulfed a 24-storey residential tower block in west London.
