Some call him "Armoured Armani", and although he does not like the title, Miguel Caballero has been in the bulletproof clothing business for the last 24 years.
Based out of Bogota, Columbia, Caballero has now made highly stylised bulletproof clothing available for executives, politicians and high profile individuals. Of course, you can buy it too, if you can cough up $7000.
This would be a sellout in Bogota had this been made during the times of the notorious narcotics smuggler Pablo Escobar, who was also known for his fine taste.
On Friday, Caballero organised a fashion show for bulletproof clothing in Bogota.
As elegant as the clothes may look, do not be fooled, they have been designed to provide protection with armour Level Type II and IIA, which is enough protection even if you are shot with a powerful handgun.
