Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actress Divyanka Tripathi: Scared to have a daughter after minor gets raped on Independence Day eve

While India celebrated its 70th Independence Day, a 12 year old girl was assaulted in Chandigarh. A minor girl who was returning home after attending Independence Day celebrations at her school, was allegedly assaulted an raped at gunpoint inside the Children Traffic Park in sector 23 at Chandigarh. TV actress Divyanka Tripathi is upset with the news, and feels worried about women's safety in the country. Calling our country, No women's lan that she questioned the Beti Bachao campaign and even requested PM Modi to make India safer place for girls.

Not just this, Divyanka who got married to Vivek Dahiya in July last year says she is not keen to have a daughter. Like most of us, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actress is scared about giving birth to a baby girl and raising her in unsafeenvironment.

Disturbed by the gruesome act of rape of 12 year old girl, Divyanka even requested PM Narendra Modi to get the nation rid of rapists as a part of Swachh Bharat Campaign.

The actress is known for playing strong headed characters in her TV shows too, right from her debut show Banoo Mein Teri Dulhan to her current show Yeh Hai Mohabattien. And this just seems to be an extention of her reel roles.
