Recreating the magic of the Golden era, the Top 8 Li’l Champs are all set to transport you back in time to the 60’s and 70’s by singing timeless melodies in a ‘Classics Special’ episode on Sunday 18th June 2017 at 9PM on Zee TV. While the Top 8 talented performers sing iconic numbers from that era, the entire environment is set to match the golden era as everyone is fashionably dressed in black and white.

To stay in sync with the ‘Black and White’ theme of the evening, the beautiful Neha Kakkar was seen fashionably dressed in a white lacy top and black floor-length pants which made everyone on the sets think that she looked like the gorgeous actress, Meena Kumari. The veteran actress was considered to be one of the most beautiful stars of her time and being compared to her, left Neha Kakkar overjoyed. Everyone agreed that those who’ve not had the chance to see Meena Kumari can look at Neha and feel blessed to have seen someone with a striking resemblance to the legendary beauty.

On the other hand, mentor Javed Ali has also been a big sport and has fulfilled all of Shanmukhapriya’s mother’s demands through the season. Javed went a step ahead this time when he replicated the scene in which Bahubali pulls a heavy carriage but the difference being that he had to pull a carriage in which all the Li’l Champs had happily plonked themselves. Putting his entire might behind it, Javed Ali sportingly pulled the carriage all around stage just to put a smile on the kids’faces!

Setting the tone of the classic era, Riya Biswas sang ‘Aaiye Meherbaan’ followed by the soulful Li’l Champ Sonakshi Kar who sang ‘Agar Mujhde Mohabbat Hai’. The talented Shreyan Bhattacharya sang ‘Khoya Khoya Chand’ while the queen of yodeling Shanmukhapriya  performed ‘Mera Naam Chin Chin Chu’. The bubbly Dhroon Tickoo sang ‘Cheel Cheel Chilake’. Dressed as Raj Kapoor, the cute Jayash Kumar sang ‘Joota Hain Japani’. Yumna Ajin, Satyajeet Jena and Adnan Hussain ended the show on a high note as they performed ‘Tadbeer Se Bigdi Hui Taqdeer Bana Le’, ‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas’ and ‘Hamen To Loot Liya’ respectively.
