Naagin 3: Puja Banerjee, Krystle D Souza in race to replace Mouni Roy as Naagin!

Ekta Kapoor announced on her Instagram that Mouni Roy will not be playing Naagin in the third season of the show. Mouni is busy with her upcoming film Gold and will later be shooting for Brahmastra. Now, there is curiosity about who will be stepping into the shoes of Mouni as the new naagin. Sources say that auditions are currently on and names like Puja Banerjee last seen in Dev and Krystle D Souza, who was seen in Ekta’s Brahmarakshas are in contention. Incidentally, she is slated to do another show,  around the same time, but sources say she is being considered. Even Qubool Hai actress Surbhi Jyoti is one of the contenders. Naagin 3 is set go on air next year in January or February. This season, we hear, is going to be completely different from the previous two seasons. “While it will be called Naagin 3, there will be no connection to the first two seasons,” says a source. Incidentally, even Adaa Khan will not be part of the third season.
