BMW’s Vision Next 100 Concept boasts of a self-balancing motorcycle. But what’s interesting about it is its frame, which changes form whenever a turn is made. It doesn’t have joints, bearings or a suspension; the tyres absorb the undulations of the road. There’s also a riding suit that keeps the rider warm or cool based on the weather, and a visor that uses eye movements to provide route, traffic and other information.
You drive to work and your car remains in the parking lot till the end of the day when you drive it back. What if we told you, Honda has imagined an electric self-drive vehicle – the Honda NeuV – that can earn a few bucks for you when you aren’t using it? And thanks to the Honda Automated Network Assistant (HANA), it can detect moods and suggest media accordingly.
Faraday Future recently showcased the FF91, one of the world’s fastest electric cars, which can do 0-100km/h in 2.39 seconds. For autonomous driving, the car has been fitted with 10 HD cameras, 13 radars, 12 sensors, and comes with a driverless park function.
