The record-extending spree of Roger Federer will keep continuing, for he isn’t going to slow down anytime soon. The Swiss tennis legend has the best horoscope amongst anyone to have played tennis. He has Uranus, Chiron and Planet-Y (1999 JV127) in simultaneous exaltation, a celestial marvel that can happen only once in a century.

There is a gap of three Grand Slams between Federer and Rafael Nadal, who is breathing down his neck with 15 Slams compared to the former's 18. But come Sunday, Federer will only extend the gap by winning his eighth Wimbledon title, which will ensure none of the current generation of players can beat his record for most Major titles.

The World No. 5 has done something spiritual by deciding not to play all the Majors this year. By playing a select few events, he has increased his karmic possibilities of winning a tournament as the rest of the pack has played and won other tournaments.

It is only incidental that Marin Cilic is playing against him in this Wimbledon final. It is nature’s way of providing Federer an easier opponent to extend his Slams tally.

That's not to underestimate the Croatian’s horoscope, though. He has Planet-Z (2008 FC76) and Planet-X (2007 RH283) in exaltation, which is a decent arrangement. He does have it in him to win another Grand Slam but probably against a younger player or other members of the 'Big Four', and at a lesser stage.

Wimbledon is the greatest arena of the sport and only the greatest win on the grandest stage. After Lleyton Hewitt in 2002, no one other than Federer, Nadal, Novak Djokovic or Andy Murray has won the Wimbledon title. It seems that will remain so for another year.
