The hallowed Eden Gardens today remembered its former boss Jagmohan Dalmiya on his 77th birth anniversary with tributes pouring in for the former BCCI president who died two years ago.

A blazer, tie and accreditation card were put on display at the Eden while the Cricket Association of Bengal said the working committee has decided to erect his bust inside the stadium in Dalmiya's memory.

Paying glowing tribute, former CAB official Biswarup Dey said: "We have unveiled Dalmiya's blazer, tie and IPL which he wore during his final term as the BCCI president in 2015. The future generation will keep remembering him." Dalmiya's son Avishek, who is the CAB joint secretary said the blazer has a special significance.

"He wore this blazer for the first time when he became the BCCI president in 2015. After that he used the blazer for few times to attend some BCCI meetings," Avishek said thanking everyone.
