PV Sindhu is the only Indian left in the All England Open Badminton Championships 2018, after Saina Nehwal, Kidambi Srikanth and HS Prannoy all crashed out at various stages of the championships.

Sindhu is one victory away from sealing a spot in the women's singles final. Sindhu faces Japan's Akane Yamaguchi in the semifinal on Saturday.

The two have clashed nine times previously with Sindhu coming out on top in six games.
