Saketh Myneni steamrolled Serbian Pedja Krstin in the third round of US Open qualifiers to confirm a spot in the main draw of the Grand Slam on Friday.

According to ESPN, in the match that lasted 56 minutes, Myneni beat Krstin 6-3, 6-0.

Myneni has set up a clash against world number 48 Jiri Vesely for the first round of US Open starting Monday at Flushing Meadows, New York. If he survives Vesely, Myneni's second round opponent will be World Number 1 and top seed of the tournament Novak Djokovic.

At number 143 in ranking, Myneni follows Yuki Bhambri's stint as an Indian playing in the main draw of a Grand Slam. Bhambri lost to Andy Murray in the first round of Australian Open 2015.
