'Recovering' Luke Shaw eyes Manchetser United return before season end

Manchester United defender Luke Shaw, who has been out of action since last September due to a double fracture, is hoping to make a return to the side before the end of this season.

The 20-year-old suffered an injury in his right leg by a reckless tackle from PSV defender Hector Moreno during their opening Champions League match.

Reflecting on his health, Shaw said his leg was getting better with each passing day, and is hoping to don Manchester United shirt again before the end of the season, the Guardian reported.

Shaw insisted his road to recovery has been really tough, and now he is looking forward to be back on pitch as soon as possible.

Earlier, manager Louis van Gaal had talked about Shaw most likely to play in the FA Cup final to be held against Crystal Palace on May 21.
