On the eve of Board of Control for Cricket in India's (BCCI) crucial Special General Body (SGM) meeting, former disgraced BCCI president N Srinivasan not only checked in at a five star hotel here in the Capital but also held discussion with all three eligible BCCI officials: CK Khanna, Anirudh Chaudhary and Amitabh Chaudhary.

Srinivasan, however, has not revealed whether he is going to attend the SGM on Sunday or not. The 72-year-old Tamil Nadu strongman has chosen to stay in a different hotel than the one which is going to host the SGM. This was carefully done in order to escape any media scrutiny.

Though, there was speculations in the BCCI circles that Srinivasan has called upon all the members of state cricket associations --- who have either been disqualified or not ready to implement the Supreme Court orders --- for a dinner date on Saturday, but there was no such signs as DNA found out that most of the members came back to their respective hotel room after meeting Srinivasan over a cup of tea.

The only one person who was still there in Srinivasan's hotel was Kerala Cricket Association's TC Mathew, the former BCCI vice-president facing large scale corruption charges as per the Deloitte audit report.

Both Chaudharys and Khanna were back well before the dinner time and held another round of meeting in venue hotel room. "It was just a courtesy call and nothing regarding the SGM was discussed," said a source close to BCCI official. Ssked if Srinivasan would risk contempt of the Apex court by attending the SGM on Sunday, the source said one will have to wait for the right time to know the answer.

DDCA to stay away

Meanwhile, Delhi High Court-appointed administrator Justice (Retd) Vikramjit Singh Sen has announced that "no one from Delhi & Districts Cricket Association (DDCA) will be attending the SGM on Sunday".

This left BCCI's vice-president Khanna shell shocked as he has been trying to project himself "important" in the current scenario.

Justice Sen was probably not aware that despite his tight vigil on what's happening inside Ferozeshah Kotla premises, his own appointed confidants are taking instructions from Khanna regarding "what should happen".

DNA has learnt that Khanna has been calling shots by using his proxies even today in terms of selection of players, like always.

In a shocking development, former Delhi prolific batsman and junior selector Ashu Dani walked out of the Under-19 North Zone ZCA meeting on Saturday after Khanna's propelled convenor, Sidharth Verma, included two players who were hardly been a part of Delhi's age-group team during the ongoing season. "I protested after a player who didn't even play for Delhi was included in the team," was how Dani told DNA after walking out of the ZCA meeting. "Even the second player named in squad played just one game," Dani added.

All the two players in question are apparently been included on behest of Khanna. Dani has even submitted his 'note of dissent' with the convenor.
