After growing disontent at Anfield, Liverpool bosses may take a brave step and disown current manager Brendan Rodgers at the end of the season, say media reports.

The Reds, who have a massive task of qualifying for the Champions League Round-of-16, in a do-or-die clash against FC Basel, are currently languishing in 12th spot in the Premier League table, and have had a miserable season so far.

Rodgers, who almost guided Liverpool to a historic first league title last season, has come under fire from all sections for his 'inept' handling of the side, as pressure mounts on the Northern Irishman to either deliver or perish.

Klopp, who turned Dortmund from a mid-table club to European and  Bundesliga pretenders, is also reportedly interested in making a switch to England and take over the reins at Anfield.
