Ever since Rahul Dravid has taken over the role of a mentor in the Delhi Daredevils, the fortunes have reversed for a team which was getting used of lying low on tables for last couple of years.
Having won five of seven matches till date, Daredevils sit comfortably in the top half of the table. On the other hand, Mahendra Singh Dhoni's side Rising Pune Supergiants have hit rock bottom winning just two of the total eight played so far.

For Dhoni, this has been an worrisome issue as his Midas touch looks to have diminished over the last one season. He, like his teammates, isn't sure where their next win will come from.
Daredevils have thrived this season on overseas players. They are spoilt for choice considering players like Carlos Brathwaite, Sam Billings and Imran Tahir aren't sure about being picked in the playing eleven.

So much so that Delhi have seen six different match winners so far in seven games. The horses for courses approach has done wonders for the side and it will be not be a surprise if fans again see changes in the playing XI on Thursday. The return of JP Duminy will only make things tough for Pune,

With injuries to Faf du Plessis, Kevin Pietersen, Steven Smith and Mitchell Marsh, Dhoni can relax a bit now as Usman Khawaja and George Bailey have been added to the squad.
Not just batters, Dhoni's bowlers have also contributed to his worries. His most experienced offie Ravichandran Ashwin is not in his element. In the pace department too, Ashok Dinda and Thisara Perera have also gone for runs in previous matches. In that case, Dhoni is likely to fall back upon Delhi's local boys, Rajat Bhatia and Ishant Sharma, to take them home here at the Ferozeshah Kotla.
