Before the start of the series, Virat Kohli was 'public enemy No.1' for the Australian cricket team but gradually the media houses of that particular country, took it upon themselves to start a war against the Indian skipper. From comparing Kohli with United States President Donald Trump to placing the him in the same bracket as animals, the Australia media have done it all.

However, with Kohli being ruled out of the fourth Test at Dharamsala due to a shoulder injury suffered in Ranchi, well-renowned commentator Harsha Bhogle took a sly dig at the Australian tabloids while raising a pertinent question. "No Kohli, fine pitch, toss won, batsmen doing well, beautiful stadium, wonder what the tabloids in Oz will search for now...." tweeted Bhogle.

Kohli had himself pointed out that he doesn't get affected by the criticism of Australian media and that he would continue saying what he feels is right. But like Bhogle said, it will really be difficult for the media to find out faults of the Indian captain, now that he is sitting out.

Kohli might not be able to get himself fit in time for the decider but he reminded one and all that the shoulder injury can't force him to lie low. So what if he is not out there in the middle but Kohli was the non-playing captain on the day, carrying drinks during one of the breaks with opposition skipper Steve Smith on the rampage.

When Kuldeep Yadav returned to his fielding position at the boundary after dismissing David Warner, Kohli walked up with a bottle of energy drink with some valuable tips for the rookie spinner. Kuldeep made a memorable debut with a four-wicket haul that negated Smith's defiant hundred as India bowled out Australia for 300 on an engrossing opening day of the fourth and final Test on Saturday.
