Even as the two nations are battling with rising tensions on the border, India will take on arch rivals Pakistan in the final of the Asian Cricket Council Women’s Twenty20 Asia Cup at the Asian Institute Technology Ground in Bangkok on Sunday.

The two teams had met once earlier in the tournament, when Pakistan suffered it's only defeat in the campaign. India, on the other hand, have been unbeaten thus far, winning all five of their matches.

Old-horse Mithali Raj has been leading the way for India, smashing a brilliant half-century against Sri Lanka to guide India to the final. She will need to fire in the final as well, along with Harmanpreet Kaur and Smriti Mandhana.
