India need to sort out bowling woes prior to 2015 World Cup, says former pacer Javagal Srinath

Former India pacer Javagal Srinath believes the team needs to 'identify' its frontline pace attack who can deliver at the World Cup starting in February.

Srinath, who is currently an ICC match referee, emphasized on Ishant Sharma, Umesh Yadav, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar getting their act right ahead of the mega event. Srinath, the only Indian fast bowler to have taken more than 300 wickets in ODIs, said that Bhuvaneshwar's swing can prove to be the telling factor on Australia and New Zealand's pitches.

Srinath, who took 44 wickets in the 1992, 1996, 1999 and 2003 editions of the World Cup, said Indian pacers need to get their act in order and hit top rhythm prior to the event. He concluded by saying that time was not on India's side and the team needed to find a solution to their bowling woes as fast as possible.
