Kedar Jadhav is a man whose talent was never doubted. His incredible shot-making can match up to the very best. For a long time, though, the diminutive batsman failed to break through the domestic shackles and make it big on the international scene. However, it all changed for him after a stellar ODI series against England recently.

The right-hander blasted 232 runs in the three-match ODI series at an average of 77.33 to win the Man of the Series award. He also smashed a century and combined with skipper Virat Kohli to guide the Men in Blue to a successful run-chase during the 1st ODI in Pune.

Naturally, it doesn't come as a surprise that Jadhav's career-changing run has introduced him to a new way of life. The new-found stardom has forced the Maharashtra lad to hire an assistant and a bouncer. According to a Mid-day report, the middle-order batsman has to now check with his bouncers if it is safe to visit a particular area.

Meanwhile, another big change in Jadhav's life, albeit not a very recent one, has been the introduction of non-vegetarian food. At a felicitation function in Pune recently, he explained how he had always been a pure vegetarian since his parents had promised God that they would turn vegetarians if they got a son.

"But I realised, despite working hard, I was struggling to maintain my fitness level. So I told my father that for my cricket, I needed to start eating meat. He agreed, and I’ve added chicken, fish, lamb to my diet since," said Jadhav.
