Eden Hazard netted a dazzling first-half goal as Chelsea continued their relentless march towards the Premier League title by clinching a controlled 2-1 win over West Ham United at London Stadium here last evening.

The Belgium midfielder once again proved his class when he put Chelsea ahead in the 25th minute of the match by hammering the opener following a blistering counter-attack.

In the 50th minute of the match, Diego Costa struck his 18th goal of the season to put his side in control before West Ham midfielder Manuel Lanzini pulled back a consolation goal at a stoppage-time.

With the win, Chelsea have restored their 10-point lead at the top of the league table, having notched up 21 wins from 27 games they have played so far,goal.com reported.

On the other hand, West Ham, who knocked Chelsea out of the League Cup this season, are languishing down to 11th spot in the standings.

While Chelsea will take on Watford, West Ham will lock horns with Bournemouth in their next league clash.
