Chennai, Delhi tipped for glory

MS Dhoni's 'Midas touch' could well rub off on his Indian Super League franchise. Simply put, Chennaiyin FC, which is co-owned by the India skipper, is a strong contender for the title.

While coach Marco Materazzi has a phenomenal horoscope, captain Bojan Djordjic was born in 1982. Delhi Dynamos have Alessandro Del Piero and the 1981-born Mads Junker sharing the captaincy. The years 1981and 1982 are the best for sports achievers when Uranus and Planet 'Y' are in exaltation. Hence Chennai and Delhi are best-placed to win the big prize.

Expect the Robert Pires-led FC Goa to bounce back into reckoning soon as they are very strong astrologically. Atletico de Kolkata have just enough astrological power to go all the way in the tournament. Kerala Blasters are led by a very young Penn Orji who cannot win a tournament so early. Mumbai and Pune aren't astrologically well-balanced. Also, they are led by weak captains and coaches. The North East United FC has a good young squad, but will do well in subsequent editions.

So, while Chennai and Delhi are the astrological favourites, Atletico and FC Goa also have a good chances. Kerala, North East, Pune and Mumbai have no chance at all.
