Apart from reduced power consumption, what are the advantages of LED lamps?

LED lighting technology is the best low-wattage alternative to traditional lighting. While LEDs use less electricity, they are also engineered without the use of harmful materials. This makes the technology easy to dispose of as it nears its end. All our products come with internal or external ballasts that can be matched with any type of wiring system. SYSKA LED's exclusive modular design allows simple light source replacement in ceiling fixtures, wall packs etc, in a cost-effective way.

How does SYSKA look at the future of power consumption?

India's energy demand is expected to double by 2030. In the face of its present energy constraints, the country needs to use its energy as efficiently as possible. Energy efficiency is a key component of SYSKA’s strategy to help India transition to a clean energy pathway without compromising its growth objectives. SYSKA works in sectors with the maximum potential for energy efficiency and carbon abatement. These efforts are in sync with the country's National Mission on Enhanced Energy Efficiency (NMEEE), which seeks to establish policies and regulations to strengthen energy efficiency for industries, buildings and appliances.

Will there be newer innovations when it comes to proper lighting with reduced power consumption?

Innovation is a constant change in this universe and we see LED as a new beginning and this technology is not getting replaced in the near future. With growing need, we can assume that there will be more variants in LED lighting having incremental efficiencies. Having our own R&D process, we are sure that we will able to bring many more innovations down the line.

Most people carry electronic reading appliances with them while flying. The backlight is what helps them read. Will LED backlighting ever be used for such devices?

Many brands use LED backlighting technology, which offers the advantages over CCFL LCDs of reduced energy consumption, better contrast and brightness, greater colour range, more rapid response to changes in scene and more accurate image rendering.

Thomas Edison had a dream of lighting up New York with electric lights in the 19th century. Do you see a world that only focuses on LED lighting—even on streets?

The change has started and SYSKA is playing major role in it. SYSKA has helped transform many street lights to LED lighting. Recently, a major fly over at Guwahati was completely replaced by SYSKA LED. Outdoor LED lighting and lighting in industries are a part of this change.

Will LED lighting ever be used as decorative lighting i.e. consume less power and still look really pretty?

LED lights offer various solutions across applications. LED decorative lights are readily available in the market and SYSKA LED Lights offer the complete range for such requirements.
