If you've ever wanted to feel like the alien warrior from Predator, CES 2016 has just the thing for you. Camping and survival electronics company FLIR announced the Scout TK, and it's pretty rad.

The FLIR Scout TK is a thermal vision monocular, shaped like your old joystick controller, but small abd light enough to grip with one hand. The Scout TK picks up thermal signatures of bodies and fires, and lets you see in the dark up to over 90m away, even when obscured by plant cover. It's simple to use, with a four-button interface, and even records video and still photos so you can share them later. You can adjust the brightness, colour palette, and it's shock and water resistant, and the device is supposed to offer around 5 hours of use, even with a built-in 640x480 LCD display.

The FLIR Scout TK will ship in the first quarter of this year and will be available for US $599.
