As of now, Nintendo has not yet announced any plans to release the game for Android. Even if they do, it is highly recommended that users wait for the official release on the Google Play Store.
Back in September, Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto joined Apple’s Tim Cook to announce that Super Mario Run will launch for iOS on December 15th.
Super Mario Run takes about 370MB of storage and requires a constant Internet connection to work. The demo is free to download, but comes with a steep one-time in-app purchase of Rs 620 which will give users access to the full game.
Reports say that the game was downloaded over 10 million times in a single day (December 15) which racked up about $4 million in consumer purchases.
Fans can pre-register on Google Play to be among the first to download the game at Google Play Store.
