Businessman Ajay Chordia found dead at 5-star hotel near Pune

Ajay Ishwardas Chordia (47) leading businessman and group chairman of Panchshil Hotels was found dead at a hotel owned by the group on Monday afternoon. Chordia's body was recovered from a room in the Hotel Double Tree in Chinchwad.

Although it appears to be an apparent case of suicide, the definite cause of death is yet to be confirmed. Chinchwad Police are investigating the matter.
 
Ajay Chordia, primarily managed the family’s business interests concentrated in the twin township of Pimpri Chinchwad. Chordia was also appointed as the director of the Hotel and Restaurant association western India on September 12, 2011.
