Undecided about how you'd like to spend the long weekend? Make a trip to The Lil Flea. The Bandra Reclamation Ground, which offers a lovely setting for the market is an ideal destination for collectors, bargain hunters, music aficionados and enthusiastic Mumbaikars wanting to soak up the atmosphere. This year, organisers Alankar Jain and Priyanka Punjabi have pulled all stops to ensure that The Lil Flea is going to be bigger than last year, with over 200 pop-up shops.

You'll swear by the mishmash of food booths offering experimental and street food. Comb through the racks for merchandise put forth by an impressive list including Sole Sisters, Random in Tandem, Tressessory, Funk for Hire, Travellers Trove, Shor Sharaba, Mine Clothing, Doodle Collection, Unees Bees, Stylish Play, Princess K and Studio Kassa.
Make sure you arrive on time to treat your taste buds to healthy atta blends and rolls by JIWA, chocolates by Bean Therapy, dips by Dippilicious or the Maggi-based preparations by Maggies & More.
This year, The Lil Flea will have a dedicated section for your dogs, where the pets can indulge in a three-course meal, play some games or get a grooming session done.

When you have explored the market, you can rest your tired feet and soak up the ambience as you enjoy live music. The bevy of musicians performing at the market include Anand Bhagat & Co. with their offering of African rhythms, tribal sounds and instruments; Krishna Marathe with her brand of Electronica combined with the flute; Filter Coffee with their soulful fusion music and Clayton Hogermeer.
Film and art lovers can watch the short film screenings hosted by the Shamiana Film Club. An Open Mic will have fun-filled performances by over 25 stand-up comics, poets and musicians.

On a charitable note, there will be a session called 'Live Art for Kashmir', where a bunch of artists will put their paintbrushes to good use by creating customised art for guests on the spot. Their canvases will be postcards, T-shirts, pebbles and paper toys.
One man's junk is another man's joy at The Lil Flea. Here, guests can exchange their books in lieu of another book, in a community book exchange. Generous patrons can donate old books and clothes, which will be handed over to an NGO working for Kashmir relief operations.
