Cops find video clips of youth getting intimate on Kulkarni’s mobile and pen-drive
The Mumbai Crime branch on Thursday arrested the 'master' of Shifu Sunkriti, Dr Sunil Kulkarni, after the Bombay High Court (HC) directed the police to investigate the claims of a Malad-based couple that their two daughters were brainwashed by Kulkarni.
The police probe revealed that Kulkarni, who is not a qualified psychiatrist and medical practitioner, had allegedly urged both sisters to consume Tryptom ER 10 mg tablets.
The police also found videoclips of boys and girls getting intimate in Kulkarni's mobile and pen-drive. Police officials are in the process of obtaining information about the youths who were in touch with Kulkarni. The police also found an office letterhead after raiding Kulkarni's home, which contained a prescription for abortion pills. According to the police, Kulkarni had been spreading Shifu Sunkriti through the Internet since November 2015 to youth. These youth were shown obscene and vulgar material, thereby brainwashing them into promiscuity.
It is alleged that Kulkarni lured complainant Sandip Sule's daughters Shivangi and Samira by showing them obscene material on the Internet and photo sharing app Instagram through Shifu Sunkriti.
"After inquiring with the Maharashtra Medical Council, we learned that Kulkarni is not enrolled with them. We are verifying claims made by Kulkarni that he has a degree in Psychology from a university in Nagpur.
While the police claim that Samira and Shivangi are untraceable, Samira said, "It is a conspiracy against us. It is no fault of Kulkarni that he has been kept behind the bars?.
