Praising Chhagan Bhujbal, top BJP leader calls him a 'fighter'

Minister of State for Social Justice and BJP leader Dilip Kamble put his party in a spot of bother on Tuesday when he backed tainted BJP leader Chhagan Bhujbal who is behind bars. Calling Bhujbal a 'fighter', Kamble stated that he has fought for poor and he will soon come out of jail on bail.

Kamble was speaking at an event organised at Phule Wada in on the occasion of death anniversary of social reformer Mahatma Jyotiba Phule. Interestingly, Kamble made the statement in presence of NCP supremo Sharad Pawar who was also attending the event, which was organised by Akhil Bhartiya Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Samta Parishad founded by Bhujbal.

"Bhujbal is a real fighter and he should be out in the society to help the poor. The court has cancelled a Section under Prevention of Money Laundering Act against him after which he can get a bail and soon he will be out," Kamble said.

Union Minister for State for Human Sesource Development Upendra Kushwaha who was also preset at the event toed Kamble's line and said, "Bhujbal is going through a tough period of life and I hope that he will be with us soon."

Pawar praised the work of Bhujbal and Samta Parishad founded by him. In his speech, Pawar said, "With the help of Samta Parishad, Bhujbal spread the work and thoughts of Mahatma Phule and Savitribai Phule in the entire country."
