Three days after the Charkop police arrested a missing banker's wife, the wife's younger sister, and the younger sister's paramour for banker's murder, the police claimed on Thursday that the younger sister had killed her own husband too with the help of her paramour in 2012.

On April 27, 2016, Asha had approached the police with a missing person's complaint stating that her husband Prakash had left home on April 12 and that he would not be coming home for 15 days.

According to police, on November 12, 2012 the younger sister Vandana Thorve along with her paramour Nilesh Supekar allegedly killed Ashok Thorve after making him consume alcohol at their residence. They allegedly dumped the body in a jungle in Beed and fled, the police said. It was found that both sisters knew about the previous killing and so the elder sister sought help to kill her husband. A case of murder has been registered at Parner police station.
