Parents of children enrolled at Tree House playschool and nursery centres, that have shut down or are on the verge of closure, are planning to stage a protest soon as there has been no communication yet from the Tree House management on the fate of the centres. Besides fretting over where to shift their children in the middle of the academic year, parents have voiced their anger as they have paid fees till March next year.

Aditya Mayekar, a parent of a child enrolled at the Malad centre, said, "Parents of children enrolled at Tree House playschools and nurseries at Malad, Kandivli, Borivli, Virar and Thane are planning to meet soon to protest against the management. No one from the management has met us. If not their staff and teachers, the management should at least meet us, since we have paid school fees till March 2017."
"The parents whose children are in the playschools may not require any document if they are enrolling their children elsewhere, but those whose children are in the nursery may be asked for leaving certificates by the school for admission to junior kindergarten. We will meet Education Minister Vinod Tawde to discuss the issue," Mayekar said.
Parents of children attending the Charkop and Malad centres had even approached police with a complaint earlier this week.
