Mumbai: That Whatsapp forward of a bomb blast in Bandra station is fake, confirms Western Railway

On Monday, the Western Railway looked to scotch rumours of a supposed bomb blast that took place at Bandra Railway station. Several messages on social media for the last fortnight have claimed that a bomb blast had taken place in Bandra station.

DCP Government Railway Police, Western Railway said it was a false message and no such incident had taken place.

Purhosttam Karad told DNA: “A false message about the blast at Bandra Railway station is being circulated in some groups. No such incident had happened.”
