A fire broke out at a cloth godown in Dongri on Wednesday around 3.16pm.

A level III fire broke out at a cloth godown in Dongri on Wednesday around 3.16pm. The fire was brought under control by around 6.12 PM. The disaster control of BMC said that there were no injuries or casualties.
The fire department official of BMC said that they received a level II fire call around 3:16 PM at a cloth godown located Nauroji Hill Road No 16, Chindi Galli in Dongri.
The fire escalated to level III by around 3:46 PM, and around 8 fire engines and 8 jumbo water tankers were sent to spot. An official from the BMC disaster control room told DNA: “The fire has been brought under control, however, the cooling process was going on.”
