Mumbai: Jordan-based spurned lover sends woman's nude picture to her brother

A 30-year-old woman have complained to Narpoli police after her fake Facebook account surfaced with her nude pics on it. The 28-year-old youth was turned down by the woman and had got married. The youth is based in Jordan and had met each other in 2012. According to police, Pritesh Randale, a resident of Vartak Nagar in Thane met the woman in 2012 at Bhiwandi and became friends. After in 2016, the woman got married and tried to tried to break off contact.

"The youth proposed to the woman several times but being married she kept on declining the proposal, but things turned  ugly after the youth made Internet calls to her husband and also sent nude pictures to her brother", said a Narpoli police officer. "The youth is settled in Jordan and was harassing the woman only through internet by creating fake profiles and repeated calls", said the officer.

SD Jadhav, Senior Inspector, Narpoli police station said, "We have registered the case under section 354 (molestation) of the Indian Penal code and under relevant sections of the Information Technology Act."

"We will get in touch with the family member of the accused and are investigating further, we have collected the posts sent by the youth", said Jadhav.
