The Special PMLA court on Wednesday asked the Arthur road jail authorities to call for the relatives of NCP leader Chaggan Bhujbal in the jail and have a discussion on the issue of Bhujbal's angiography and later inform the jail about the date to perform the procedure. The court has further said that the jail authorities should ask the family members of Bhujbal to inform them about the medical procedure and accordingly the accused should be admitted to the hospital.

Advocate Mangesh Arote, the advocate for the State, while speaking to DNA said, " After the jail authorities had filed a report on Tuesday, the jail authorities once again asked the accused if he wants to perform the angiography to which he again refused, thus we informed the court about it."

The advocate for the accused had pleaded the court to allow him with a hospital of his own choice in order to undergo the angiography, since it was his legal right, but the same was rejected.

The court while passing orders maintained,"The relatives of Chaggan Bhujbal should visit the jail premises and discuss about angiography and then inform the jail as to when Bhujbal wishes to undergo the surgery and accordingly the jail authorities should admit him in JJ hospital. However in case of emergency, the jail officials should opt for first aide treatment in the jail itself."

The special PMLA court also asked the JJ hospital to transfer the accused immediately to the Arthur road jail.
