Shiv Sena leader Anil Parab told the Bombay High Court on Tuesday that he never discussed party issues with Uddhav Thackeray even when he the latter was Sena's working president after 2003, and always reported to the party's supremo late Bal Thackeray.

Justice Gautam Patel was recording the evidence of Parab in a suit filed by Bal Thackeray's estranged son Jaidev Thackeray challenging the late Thackeray's will. In his last will of December 13, 2011, Bal Thackeray has not left a farthing for Jaidev. Jaidev has disputed the will saying that his father was of unsound mind and that Uddhav influenced him.

During his examination before the HC, parab said: "Bal Thackeray used to personally receive me at his residence. He would discuss all issues - both political and personal - with me. I used to only report to Bal Thackeray. I never discussed any issues with Uddhav even after he became the party's working president in 2003."

Parab said that senior Thackeray used to get his personal and important work done from him.

Following cross examination from Jaidev's lawyer, Parab provided details of Bal Thackeray's ailments and medical condition.

The court will continue hearing the case on August 19.

The court has so far recorded the evidences of two witnesses - advocate F. D'Souza, who prepared senior Thackeray's will and Dr Jaleel Parkar, who is attached to the Lilavati Hospital at Bandra and conducted Thackeray's check up on a daily basis since November -December 2007.

Senior Thackeray, who passed away on November 17, 2012, left majority of his estate to Uddhav.
