Devendra Fadnavis lauds Uddhav Thackeray at function

Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis said on Saturday that his government receives guidance from Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray from time to time and the BJP and Shiv Sena would together take the state to prosperity.

Fadnavis was speaking at the inauguration of the Late Smt. Mrunaltai Gore flyover, connecting Goregaon East and West. Uddhav was also present at the event, as were industries minister Subhash Desai, local MLA Vidya Thakur, minister of state for housing development Ravindra Waikar and Anjali Wartak, the daughter of the late Mrunaltai Gore.

Fadnavis said his government has garnered all the sanctions needed for the proposed Coastal Road in one year and, soon, the tender process would start for the same. He said that a single-ticketing system for all kinds of transport would bring in a new era of transport in Mumbai, and that the government was working towards it.

Uddhav said that when the Shiv Sena had suggested the name for the over-bridge, many eyebrows were raised since Gore shared a different ideology from the party.
