Defence Security Corps official found hanging, enquiry initiated

A 44-year-old official from Defence Security Corps was found hanging at the Air Force Station in their centre at Madh. The Malwani police suspect personnel issue behind the incident.

According to the police, Ramesh Kartarao Kumar was found hanging with his nylon thread of his track pants after he was found creating ruckus inside the air force station and was kept under close observation by the air force station officer.

"The officials found him hanging and we suspect that he was under the influence of alcohol. Prima facie the deceased was disturbed with his personal life and he ended his life due to personal problems. He was taken into custody by the Air force station officer and was kept under observation after his rude behaviour with the officials," said a Malwani police official.

"We have registered a case of accidental death in this regard and the incharge of the officer has been informed regarding the incident. We are awaiting the reports from the officials about the reason behind the suicide and we are investigating behind the incident," said Milind Khetle, Senior Inspector, Malwani police station.
