Cops record Kangana's statement in case filed by Hrithik

Cyber crime police officers on Saturday recorded the statement of actress Kangana Ranaut in connection with the impersonation complaint filed by actor Hrithik Roshan. Roshan had approached the police saying that the person with whom Ranaut has been communicating over emails was not him.

A team led by inspector Kalpana Gadekar had visited Ranaut's residence at Brij Building opposite Khar Gymkhana around 4.15 pm. Ranaut's advocate Rizwan Siddiquee was present when the statement was recorded.

"The police were happy to get more information from Ranaut, which was not mentioned by the complainant in his FIR. A lot of things will unfold and the aim behind Roshan circulating a private report to the media will become clear. Also, why did he not name Ranaut in his earlier complaint and lied initially will also become clear," said a source close to the actress.

"We cannot disclose what the police asked. We've had proof from the beginning. We will disclose it all in the next few days. Roshan's complaint has no facts."
