Celebrate International Yoga day at Reclamation

With an aim to encourage fitness and good health, ‘Free for All’ Yoga initiative will be organised on June 21 at Bandra Reclamation promenade. The initiative which started on March 21 will be culminating on June 21 — celebrated worldwide as International Yoga Day. 

On Wednesday, June 21, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will be visiting the promenade to be a part of the event. Along with Advocate Ashish Shelar, the event is being conducted by Studio Platform and expert yoga instructor Sunaina Rekhi. 

Speaking about the initiative, Ashish Shelar said, “Yoga helps to develop the personality and many more skills. Bandra residents will benefit by the activities organised.” 

Rekhi said, “I want to help people become aware about their capacity for kindness, and how it takes shape; and how we can elevate consciousness.”  The event will be held on June 21 at 6:45 am. Police commissioner Dattatray Padsalgikar, civic chief Ajoy Mehta, film-maker Madhur Bhandarkar, Indu Sarkar and actor Kirti Kulhari will also be present.
