An audio clip of the conversation between suspended Thane Jail Superintendent Hiralal Jadhav and Inspector General of Prison Rajvardhan Sinha wherein Sinha was reportedly heard asking Jadhav to give special treatment to an accused lodged in Thane jail has gone viral.

In the 90-second clip Sinha was heard mentioning about an accused identified as Jeetendra Jain who was given judicial custody and that his care needs to be taken once he is lodged in jail. Sinha made this call to Hiralal Jadhav before joining the prisons department as Inspector General.

Jadhav was placed under suspension after a female Thane jail staffer alleged him of sexually harassment.

Further, Sinha informs Jadhav that the Jain, who as per Sinha was unwell, is a "good man". The conversation ends when Sinha informs Jadhav that he will be taking the charge as IG prisons soon.

"I have complained to the Home Ministry against the Inspector General and have also submitted all the evidences against him", Jadhav told dna.

Sinha said, "I have not committed any wrong act by asking a Jailor to take care of an ill person and refer him to a doctor."  Sinha denied all the allegations made against him and said, "Jadhav has a tainted past and he is now alleging wrong things against senior rank officers for suspending him."
