17-year-old cancer patient to write HSC exam in Mumbai

Sneha Ari was detected with blood cancer two years ago.

17-year-old Sneha Ari, a student of Bhavan's College in Charni Road will write her HSC exam this year, a little over two years after she was detected with blood cancer.

Ari who is currently studying in Science stream said that there are a lot of obstacles that came her way. "I have severe body ache and due to medication there is always some or the other health issue. But I have decided to overcome all that and give my best" she added. 

She was diagnosed with cancer in 2014, a few months before her class 10 board exams. Despite this, Ari scored 66%. "I am confident about being successful this time as well", she said . The board has given her an hour extra to complete her paper. 

Ari wants to take up engineering and is aspiring to get into IIT.
